Yes. Our sitter is a Certified Professional with ongoing education in pet care and pet first aid. We have extensive experience with snakes and other reptiles.
How often will you visit my snake?
Visit frequency depends on your snake’s needs. Most snakes require once-daily visits, but we can accommodate twice-daily visits if you prefer.
Can you feed live prey?
We can feed frozen-thawed prey as per your normal schedule.
Live feeding may be considered only if required, safe, and legally compliant—this will be discussed during the meet & greet.
Do I need to prepare anything before leaving?
Please ensure:
You provide enough food, bedding, and supplies for the duration of your trip Enclosure equipment is functioning Your pet information form (in the client login area) is filled out before the meet & greet Emergency contact information is provided
Do you offer handling or enrichment?
Yes—only on owner request and only if the snake is accustomed to handling. Some snakes are best left undisturbed, especially during shed or after feeding.
How do I book snake sitting?
Complete the client login form on our website. We review your pet’s details. A meet & greet is scheduled. Once approved, we arrange your sitting dates and confirm your booking.
Are you insured and bonded?
Yes. Birds and Critters Pet Services is insured, bonded, and accredited, including BBB membership since 2017 (business established 2016).
Can you care for multiple reptiles?
Absolutely. We can care for snakes, lizards, turtles, amphibians, and small pets in the same household. Multi-pet households are common.
